“Flavours of oatmeal, oak spice and quinces with a lovely creamed honey note. The palate is super tight, a little gangly but enough zesty acidity to forge ahead.”

Points

95 Points Huon Hooke , The Real Review

““Restraint with drive and persistence’ could be winemaker Cliff Royle’s mantra. The bouquet is complex and charming with lightly toasted almond and subtle citrus fruit aromas. The palate is intense but delicate and finely composed, with tension, refinement and length. I could drink a bucket of it.” ”

“Margaret River Chardonnay, taking complexity in its stride. That sling of grapefruit, pepped up with stonefruit, fennel and citrus. It’s a killer combination. There’s oak here, and a whisper of reduction, but both are so well played that you barely notice”

“There's a lot to get out of this with its peachy stone fruit, citrus, figs and ginger spice with more complex flinty notes and creamy lees on the palate - not too much, just the right amount.”
