Tasting Notes

The Amelia Park 2013 Reserve Shiraz gives way to a rich bouquet of lush plum, cherry and liquorice. Aging in French oak barrels has added a layer of mocha and spice that are complimented by silky tannins that offer a smooth finish.

The grapes were harvested during the cool of the night to ensure their quality was maintained. The result is an opulent, well-balanced, award-winning wine.

“Seductive floral blueberry lift on the nose takes this excellent Shiraz into another heady zone. It's from Frankland River and those characteristic powdery graphite tannins are clearly evident. So lavish and smooth with the integration of oak and tannin s ”

“Black fruits and spice leap from the glass, filling the bouquet; the palate is intense and powerful, yet remains light on its feet; black cherry, plum and licorice fill the mouth with persistent flavour; its lightness is due to silky tannins. ”
