Tasting Notes

Greenstone’s 2012 Heathcote Shiraz is deep and complex with a dark crimson colour. It is a medium-bodied wine and opens with aromas of ripe dark plum and cherry to complement subtle liquorice, leather and a light meatiness.

As promised, the dark plum follows through on the palate to integrate with the liquorice, cedar, pepper and a graphite-like edge. A smooth finish thanks to fine, chocolatey, velvety tannins.
