Tasting Notes

The fruit for the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon comes from two vineyards - Frankland River and Mt. Barker. Both vineyards saw perfect vintages for full, rich fruit.

The aroma delivers sweet blackberries and cassis, tinged with liquorice and dark chocolate. Its palate is integrated with savoury notes, oak and fine tannins which has resulted in a finely balanced, yet powerful wine. The addition of Malbec (5%) supports the tannin backbone.
